The 5-day Outdoor Ministry Training Camp is hosted at Campcraft Outdoors.
What to Know
The Outdoor Ministry Camp is a hands-on training and activation program. This camp may be attended without being a credential-seeking student of the School of Ministry. It's open to anyone!
Campcraft offers a 123-acre campus with indoor and outdoor class settings, primitive campsites, pit toilets, and a neoprimitive hot shower. Campcraft is a backwoods retreat center with fields, creeks, ponds, and trees to unplug and enjoy.
Learners will engage in survival and outdoor skills activities daily, shared cooking duties, along with a seasonally dependent day trip to a local venue for reflection and ministry activity.
Arrival & Departure
The Ministry Camp begins Monday morning at 9 AM and ends the following Friday evening around 6 PM. Onsite Camping is required for the duration of the course with no early arrivals or departures.
Food & Drink
Learners will enjoy a variety of meals each day prepared around the campfire and in the class kitchen. The group will share cooking duties to better prepare students for their own events.
When is Ministry Camp?
What is Ministry Camp?
Ministry Camp is a 5-day long outdoor minister's training course. Learners will learn a Survival and Outdoor Skills curriculum, how to apply it Biblically, the Biblical model of outdoor discipleship, and how to minister salvation, deliverance, and healing to others. Learners shall be issued a Ministry License and/or a Certificate upon completing this course.
What is the cost of the Ministry Camp?
$650 covers the cost of training, food, field trip, and graduation. We highly recommend having your local church sponsor or split this cost with you so you can bring this blessing back to your local community quickly.
What are the sleeping arrangements?
Primitive Camping is all we offer. You may use a tarp, tent, hammock, or any variation of these to make yourself a comfortable camp for 5 days. Bring your own cooler, snacks, and everything you need to rest. 1 night will be a required survival camp away from your gear.
Do we have to know how to cook well or survive?
No, all cooking duties will be shared among the entire group and instructors. You'll learn survival skills as a means of sharing the Gospel. We're just camping! Learn what you can, contribute where you can, and enjoy the fellowship.
What denomination is the class taught from?
BBI/ Campcraft is a non-denominational, spirit-filled Christian organization. All teaching is directly from the Bible, explained following the first and second-century church, and applied to modern times. Previous course graduates serve in a wide variety of congregations and denominations.
What is the cancellation policy?
The School reserves the right to cancel individual classes due to low enrollment or various other factors.
If a class is canceled, an attempt is made to notify students and the tuition refund process will be initiated automatically. If a Learner decides to withdraw/cancel, they will receive a refund in the following way:
31+ Day Notice: Full Refund
21+ Day Notice: 75% Refund
14+ Day Notice: 50% Refund
7+ Day Notice: 20% Refund
Less than 7 day Notice: No Refund
Once a Learner arrives onsite for a course there are no refunds possible.
